First Handmade Paper

A while ago I mentioned making my own paper. I finally did it, with the help and push from my daughter. It was very quick and not as messy as I thought it would be. I don't know if you can see the texture through the picture, but they came out really good. We made some thin sheets and put them out to dry on the back porch (it's covered and soaks in all the heat!). They should be dry now, but I'll let them stay overnight. Next we'll try to add flowers or swirl of color...we'll see it depends on the mood at the time.
